We will be playing Parkland at the West Palm Field

We have received the final schedule for the game on October 24.  It will be at the West Palm Beach home field at 3:00.  I believe this is the Patriot field.  We will be playing Parkland that day.

Next Wednesday, September 23, we will be taking team pictures at the field.  Please be at the field in GAME JERSEY AND PANTS at 6:00.    I will hand out order forms to the kids Monday night for anyone who wants extra pictures.

Our team has Field Duty on Saturday September 26th. On that day we need competent adults, who will be able to run the game clocks. No kids, no grandmas, etc.

As the morning crew we will have to show up one hour before the first game, usually 8am, to set up the fields, run the game clocks, and empty trash throughout the day. We need to work until approximately 1:30 pm.

JTAA will feed and water the volunteers. I would like to get about 6 to 9 volunteers for that day and work in 2 or 3 hour shifts. Working either from 8-11 or 11-2. This year we do not have concession duty so this is the only day to volunteer.

I also need someone to do playcounting at the following games. September 26 and September 29, October 3 and October 10. These are home games, therefore, this person will not need to be certified and this is usually finished by half time.

Parents, the 2009 game schedule has been updated on the web page. Please note that the September 29 game falls on a Tuesday night. Fortunately we are at home for that game. The rest of the games are Saturdays. We have not yet heard about the October 24th game. I will post that when I get that information.

I have updated the snack schedule for the 2009 football season.  Please bring enough snack, juice or oranges for 22 boys.  If you cannot send snack on your date, please trade with someone else or let me know so I can switch you with someone.  The best way to get ahold of me is thru my email  mjhflanary@aol.com.  Thanks for all your help.

Also, don’t forget to buy your wristband ahead of time, it will be more expensive to buy it out there and you will not be allowed in without it. Players and coaches do not have to pay, just wear your jersey for boys and badges for coaches. Wristbands are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children, 6 and under are free.

Our first game is at 9:00 am, Coach wants everyone there by 8:15. Count on an hour drive time. Be sure to bring something to drink and a snack.
